Launch of Conservative Hispanas in Action PAC

October 4, 2022

AUSTIN – The Conservative Hispanas in Action PAC (CHA) enthusiastically announces its official launch. CHA PAC’s mission is to recruit and elect conservative Latina candidates to public office across Texas. The CHA PAC will go beyond giving endorsements and financial assistance, also providing mentorship, education, and strong voices.

“Hispanic women are a force in our families, a force in business, a force in our communities, and a force at the ballot box,” Chair of the Conservative Hispanas in Action PAC, Former Texas Supreme Court Justice Eva Guzman said. “But for too long, the voices of conservative Hispanic women have been absent from the political arena. CHA PAC will change the status quo by supporting and empowering conservative women seeking public office.”

“We value Latinas’ vision for the conservative future of Texas,” said Co-Chair of CHA PAC, Luisa del Rosal. “We will recruit, support, and elect candidates who prioritize issues that are at the forefront of the Hispanic community’s concerns—rising crime, the economy, property taxes, political corruption, and the crisis at our southern border. And we’ll win.”

PAC Treasurer, Maria Garza Brown, added, “To begin our important work with an initial $50,000, from our Board and some of the most visionary business and community leaders in Texas, is a testament to the PAC’s vision and to the untapped potential of conservative women leaders across the great state of Texas.”
